the house, those who build it labor in vain. -- Ps. 127:1a

Blessings to you!
God is up to something. Can you sense it? I can.
I can't honestly say I know all of what God is doing, but I can say without fear of successful contradiction that there's change in the air. Things are shifting and God is mysteriously up to something, and I'm just glad to be a part of it.
It is hard to believe that a decade-and-a-half ago -- during the infamous February winter snowstorm of 1996 -- that we launched out in faith and began the awesome process of planting a church in the Greenbelt, MD area. Since then, our church has weathered many storms: snow and otherwise. And God has faithfully, compassionately, and sufficiently seen us through each one. We have seen God's handiwork and felt God's love in the most wondrous way.
As we enter our 15th year, we celebrate the 10 and the 5 -- Divine Order and Divine Favor (Grace) -- believing as we seek to get our house in order, God's grace and favor will naturally follow with a lavish flow the likes of which we have yet to see.
We are in our adolescent years. These are the years of risk, of flexing newly discovered muscles, and of maturity. In the life of the believer, risk is equated with faith. And we are moving into greater faith, for without faith it is impossible to please God.
God really is up to something. With renewed faith and increased joy, our church is poised to co-labor with Jesus in ministry to accomplish His will. We are committed to greater faith, strong missions, passionate evangelism, deeper growth, and joyous worship. Don't miss your role in all of us. Join us as we celebrate Him and the difference He has made in our lives and as He reveals to us a glorious future.
